About the vacancy
The company is hiring a Senior Backend Developer / Tech Lead to own backend architecture across two large-scale fintech platforms involving a crypto wallet, on/off-ramp and crypto cards. The role is fully remote and focused on system design, blockchain and payment integrations, performance, and AI-powered engineering tools.
What you'll do
- Own backend architecture across two large-scale platforms with 30+ and 25+ microservices, including system design, API contracts, data flow and inter-service communication.
- Lead integrations with payment providers, card issuers and blockchain networks, including retries, circuit breakers and graceful degradation in production.
- Improve performance by profiling slow services, designing caching strategies, optimizing queries and planning for scale.
- Shape technical direction and make architectural decisions.
- Build and extend AI-powered internal tools and automations used across the development cycle.
